WORKSHOP

Eickhoff Australia deploy the highest and most exacting standards in every area of the business. Our inspection and testing standards meet and exceed all known industry standards, as could be expected with such a highly technical and advanced product range.

  • Wash Bay - Dedicated cleaning area for full-size machines and equipment.
  • Shot Blasting - The in-house Blast Booth comprises a blast area of 6.5 metres long, 5 metres wide and 4 meters high with a 25-tonne capacity.
  • In-House Paint Booth - Spray painting and preparation area.
  • Blacklight Testing - In-house NDT facilities, primarily fluorescent magnetic particle inspection using the wet continuous method.
  • Gearbox Assembly - Designated area free of particulates.
  • Load Test Bay - In-house load test facility to load test gearboxes up to 1MW capacity.
  • Shearer Test Track - Function test of longwall shearers after assembly.

Eickhoff Australia Quality Management System complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, AS/NZS3800:2012 and MP87.2 which is paramount to the organization. We also hold the Certificate in Electrical Equipment for Explosive Atmospheres.

CUSTOMER SERVICE & SUPPORT

Eickhoff is committed to support its customers in a joint effort to achieve optimal machine availability through support platforms such as maintenance and cost per tonne agreements tailored to customer preference.

Existing support mechanisms include:

  • Service Support Team - The service support team consist of dedicated skilled content experts that completed stringent inhouse training and backed by experienced technical support experts both local and abroad.
  • Remote Technical Support - Eickhoff service support can monitor real time shearer data from the Eickhoff Life Cycle Management Centre (LCMC) depending upon customer data accessibility.
  • Mine Site Support - The Service team provide a wide range of onsite services such as: Commissioning, maintenance, automation, technology and breakdown, support.
  • Training - Eickhoff service engineers have formal training and assessment qualifications TAESS00011 Enterprise Assessor Skill Set.
  • Customer Inventory Management Support - Providing accurate, real-time visibility into existing stored products.
  • Software Simulation & Test Facility - Capability to simulate all shearer field devices and verify the software functional features before releasing software in service.
